After 15 memorable years in Bangalore, a senior journalist has bid an emotional farewell to the city as she moves to Kochi to begin a new chapter.

What started as a short professional journey turned into a decade and a half filled with stories, friendships, and milestones. In her farewell note, she called the move “bittersweet yet necessary” and described Bangalore as “a city that shaped my voice and vision as a storyteller.”

Colleagues hailed her contribution to responsible journalism, calling her exit “the end of an era.” As she sets off for Kochi, she says she hopes to continue telling meaningful stories  this time, from Kerala’s scenic coast.
