“Press Under Fire: Journalists Killed in Gaza, India Voices Strong Condemnation”

The recent killing of journalists in Gaza, including Mariam Abu Dagga, Moaz Abu Taha, and Mohammed Salama, has been called “shocking and deeply regrettable” by India. These journalists were working with major international news organizations such as Reuters, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, and Middle East Eye when they lost their lives in an Israeli strike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.

India’s External Affairs Ministry emphasized its longstanding position of condemning the loss of civilian lives in conflict zones and acknowledged that Israeli authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident. Another journalist was killed in a separate incident in Khan Younis, highlighting the dangers journalists face while reporting from conflict areas.
