As the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) tighten their grip on El-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, 13 journalists and several civilians have gone missing, sending waves of concern across global media circles.

These journalists were among the few who dared to tell the world what war often tries to hide  the pain of the powerless and the price of silence. Their disappearance is a stark reminder of the growing dangers faced by reporters who risk their lives in conflict zones to defend truth and humanity.

When those who tell the story vanish, the world loses its eyes, its ears  and a piece of its conscience.
